Supporting Veterans On Veterans Day: Watch Our Operation Next Panel

Today, on Veterans Day, we join all Americans in thanking and saluting all who have served our country in the armed forces.

Without their sacrifice, commitment to country, and truly living that we are the “land of the free and home of the brave,” we would not be able to enjoy all of the freedoms we do each and every day.

At LIFT, a Department of Defense-sponsored manufacturing innovation institute, we are committed to doing our part to support our veterans and help them transition into civilian life.

That is why we created Operation Next, a program piloted at Fort Campbell that is now expanding across the country, to provide opportunities for service members to earn nationally recognized, portable credentials in advanced manufacturing, enabling them to secure a civilian career immediately upon leaving the service.

Recently, LIFT hosted a panel to talk more about the program, its successful pilot at Fort Campbell and its planned expansion to support members of the National Guard and Reserves. We encourage you to watch and learn more about Operation Next as our way of saying thank you to those brave men and women who have put others ahead of themselves.
