September-October 2015 Workforce Update Michigan

Online job ads for advanced manufacturing positions related to lightweighting in Michigan remained high through September and October 2015. While postings decreased slightly (3%) to 22,036, from 22,721 in July and August this year, employer demand for lightweighting-related skills has risen dramatically since the beginning of 2015. The total number of postings in September and October is 31% higher than the January-February total of 15,201.
