‘Rebalancing’ expands LIFT’s focus to include materials, processes and systems
LIFT provides a range of benefits. The institute’s partners identify priorities for technology, workforce, and supply chain development, as well as provide financial support for pre-competitive research. This effort aims to yield results in technology insertion, maturation, and opportunities for commercialization. As part of LIFT’s efforts, team members will develop relevant manufacturing workforce, education, and apprenticeship programs that can reach students at all levels of the education system.
Technology Accelerator: You’ll have the opportunity to join LIFT projects, have access to collaborative project funds and LIFT subject matter experts. You’ll also be able to receive technical support from LIFT engineers, prototyping services and proposal and whitepaper development support.
Trusted Advisor: LIFT will provide unbiased insight to you and your leadership during an annual briefing at your facility. You’ll also have access to technology acquisition advice and other reports and whitepapers. LIFT will also provide technology adoption roadmap development and decision support.
Connector: You’ll have access to funding opportunities, the Department of Defense Network, other manufacturing innovation institute, and marketing, public relations and government advocacy support.
Technology Showcase: You’ll have the opportunity for 1,000-square feet of LIFT high bay space, a permanent resident desk at LIFT and the ability to organize workshops and demos in the LIFT facility.
Talent Developer: You’ll have access to curricula, the LIFT Learning Lab, and customized curricula support.
Convener: You’d received invitations to present during LIFT-hosted roundtable and networking events as well as LIFT technical conference and webinars.
