The Michigan Unmanned Aerial Systems Consortium (MUASC) is the state’s only organization performing UAS flight activities under the authority of FAA Test Site Rules. MUASC is a partner to Griffiss International Airport, one of seven Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Designated UAS Test Sites.

MUASC is a 501(c)(3) providing test site infrastructure across Michigan to academia, industry and government organizations engaged in next generation technologies to advance mobility. Diverse locations across Michigan are available for testing and proof of concept needs.

MUASC can assist Department of Defense related projects with accessing Special Use Airspace (SUA) in Michigan. Projects involving DoD contractually mandated special profiles or security and risk issues may be appropriate for flight operations in SUA.
