The national showcases for U.S. Advanced Manufacturing

DETROIT HEADQUARTERS

LIFT’s 100,000-square-foot headquarters in Detroit’s historic Corktown neighborhood is a technology accelerator and pilot facility that showcases the “art of the possible” in the future of manufacturing. It also serves as a sandbox where the institute’s ecosystem can design, test, and prototype new materials, processes, systems, and curricula.

PUERTO RICO

Located on the top floor of the Lincoln Center in the heart of Caguas, LIFT’s new 28,000 sq-feet facility is a satellite extension of LIFT’s world-class Detroit headquarters. It is designed to showcase advanced materials, manufacturing processes, and systems engineering supporting manufacturers in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean region and the nation.

The facilities draw thousands of leaders and decision-makers from industry, academia, and government annually giving each of them a glimpse into the future of advanced manufacturing in support of our national economy and security.

LIFT Detroit High Bay
The LIFT High Bay is the national premiere advanced materials development facility featuring full-scale equipment and a showcase for smarter manufacturing.
Learning Lab
A state-of-the-art, immersive learning facility, the LIFT Learning Lab features seven unique labs equipped to prepare students for the most in-demand manufacturing careers.
Puerto Rico
LIFT opened a 17,000 square foot facility located at the Lincoln Plaza in Caguas, Puerto Rico as a satellite of its Detroit headquarters.
