LIFT Off: Loukus Technologies, Inc.
Advances In Manufacturing Custom Alloys and Composites
Loukus Technologies, Inc. will present their unique capabilities in manufacturing custom alloys and composites and will share details about several patented metal casting, process technologies and lightweight components for brakes, tanks, wear plates, MMC diamond cutting blades, high temperature insulative casting mold coatings, and lightweight encapsulated armor and SEM + FEA capabilities analysis, among others. Dr. Adam Loukus, President, will review relevant project details to illustrate these capabilities. Dr. Loukus received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 2001. He performed graduate research at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, as well as at MTU where he received his Ph.D. in hydro-forming metals in 2004. His research extends from light alloy development to material processing techniques to obtain desired component properties.
Loukus Tech’s mission is to Deploy material technology products through internal alloy and process development, coupled with partnering, licensing, and contract manufacturing.
