LIFT Research Partner Receives 2018 Innovator of the Year Award

LIFT Melt Processing Pillar Leader and Alcoa-Howmet Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute Diran Apelian was recently awarded the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) 2018 Innovator of the Year Award.

Apelian is the first faculty member to win the award since its establishment in 2011 and was awarded for “his innovative work in metal processing and for this leadership as a researcher and educator.”
