Manufacturing USA Award at the first Science + Innovation Awards

Manufacturing USA is helping to honor the next generation of innovative leaders through partnering with the Creators of the Teen Choice awards in an all new, first-of-its-kind Science + Innovation Awards. We need your help in nominating those rising stars already positively impacting their communities through what they make!

The Science + Innovation Awards are a multi-media, interactive extravaganza where pop culture meets science and technology. Featuring appearances by Hollywood’s biggest sci-fi stars and STEAM celebrities, salutes to the world’s coolest science icons, tech-infused music performances, and awards to outstanding young science innovators, the inaugural Science + Innovation Awards will be streamed live world-wide on April 15, 2018 from Los Angeles.

As part of this first-of-its-kind event, Manufacturing USA will assist The Science + Innovation Awards with selecting and presenting the Manufacturing Innovation Award. The competition will honor students and mentors that are actively securing the future of manufacturing by pushing boundaries, breaking molds, and making the world a better place through innovations in STEAM. Award recipients will be honored during the Science + Innovation Awards in Santa Monica, California on April 15, 2018.

Calling all innovators!
The Manufacturing Innovation Awards will be given to one champion and three students:
The Manufacturing Innovation Champion Award will recognize spokespeople, trainers, mentors, or educators throughout the country who demonstrate to the next generation what it means to “make”. Winners will be selected based on their leadership, collaboration, innovation, and impact in promoting manufacturing in their community, state, or across the U.S.

Manufacturing Innovation Student Application

The Manufacturing Innovation Student Awards will honor those rising leaders 13 years and older who have contributed to the advanced manufacturing community through inventing new products, processes, or techniques. Winners will be selected based on their leadership and innovative ability to solve problems rather than the complexity of their projects or solution.
